I'm a fan of Tsum Tsum mobile game and this is the first time I'm writing a post to share info.  Here's a brief guide to 2018 June event, Space Ranger Defeat Emperor Zurg!

Overview
At first try, the event's rules seemed complicated but as one plays along, it is actually one of the easiest event to complete and to get the event Pin.  This was a 2018 March event in Japanese version, now Global version runs the event from June 5 to 25, 2018, 11:59pm PDT (or June 26, 2018, 2:59pm UTC+08:00).

Requirement
For this event, players are advised to have a LINE account and to link with LINE under the game's Account Settings.  Guest Account may play this event but it'll be difficult as they'll be no friends to play with.  Other than that, there is no minimum Level or Skill requirement.  Everyone, including new players, may join this event.

Play with Friends
Players may accumulate many Coins and earn rewards while "Team up with friends" to clear missions.  For friends who are playing the event, the usual Heart button appears as an unique icon.  Click on the button to either "View friend's order + Send a Heart" or just "Send a Heart".

When you clear a friend's mission, both of you will get the Mission Points and, by helping out, you will get an extra 30% Help Points.  Don't forget to click on [Card] to select/complete/proceed mission.

Invite Inactive Friends
On the back side of the Event Card, you'll see ranks and next reward.  Click on [Invite Friend to Event] to invite friends who have not logged in for 30 days or more.  In order for you to get 10 Rubies, invited friend has to complete the event, i.e. reached the 100,000 points.

Rank and Rewards
Whenever a player reaches certain level of points, there'll be rewards, such as Coins, Hearts, Bonus Items, Level tickets and the ultimate, a Skill ticket and Pin.  After reached 100,000 points, the Event is Cleared but players may continue to carry out Orders or help friends, and to earn even more Coins.

Missions
Below are the 3 types of missions (in the game, they are known as Orders).  They are repeated over different levels with difficulty increases as levels go up.

Order 1: Ranger Mission
  • Missions differ by players, some missions are more difficult to clear
  • Need not clear all 4 missions to move to the next level
  • If cannot clear a mission in one attempt, it will be marked as "Failed"
  • You may Quit a mission, i.e. abandon mission without even trying it.  The mission will be marked as "Failed"
  • "Failed" mission will appear as "Help!" in your friends' game
  • A friend may clear new or "Help!" mission and this may be done over several tries.  Thus the "play each mission 1 time only" does not apply to friends who help
  • When a friend clears your mission, it will count as a success for you.  So you'll get Clear Points while your friend will get the same Clear Points plus extra 30% Help Points
  • If you cannot wait for friends to help, click the <Star Command> to report back to the Star Command, and you will get Cleared Missions x Level Points
  • If a level is completed with "Failed" mission, that level is not Cleared, no level up and same level will repeat
  • At Level 1, each mission rewards 100 points, as missions clear and level up, points increase by 20 each level. Eg. Level 2 is 120, Level 3 is 140, and so on until level 20 & onwards capped at 480 points per mission
  • Friends may help to clear all missions

Order 2: Rescue Aliens

  • This is the easiest Order to complete, as it has no time limit and can be done over a few plays
  • Each rescued Alien awards 30 Rescue Points
  • If help a friend's mission, get an additional 30% Help Points
  • Recommend to use new Limited Edition Tsum Tsum to get a +50% Character Bonus
  • For e.g. when I played with Jasmine Tsum of Max Skill 6/6, the most Aliens rescued were 11, while Zurg Tsum of Skill 2/6, got 15 (10 + 5 Character Bonus)
  • Level 1 needs to rescue 10 Aliens and number of Aliens increases as level goes up.  At Level 10 and onwards, it is capped at rescue 60 Aliens
  • Friends cannot complete this Order, a certain number of Aliens (10% of the Order) need to be rescued by yourself

Order 3: Defeat Zurg

  • This order needs to be completed within an hour and can be done over a few plays
  • Each time a Zurg is hit, you'll get 150 Damage Points
  • If help a friend's mission, get an additional 30% Help Points
  • If use new Tsum Tsum, will get a +50% Character Bonus
  • Recommend to use Tsum Tsum with burst skill, create magical bubbles Tsum
  • For eg. I played with Jasmine Tsum of Max Skill 6/6, I was able to hit Zurg 6 times and get 900 points.  But I've got much lesser points (including bonus points) when played with one of the new Tsums
  • Level 1 starts with 2,200 Damage Points and gradually increases up to Level 14 & onwards where it's capped at 7,500
  • Friends cannot defeat Zurg completely, you will need to Hit Zurg a few times (10% of the Order)

Conclusion.  In order to quickly get points to rank up, play friends' missions whenever available since you'll get an extra 30% Help Points.  Likewise, let your friends play your missions.  But if there isn't many active players, spend a little time and you'll still be able to complete the event.  Personally I'm enjoying this event, a good chance to accumulate Coins, earn Bonus Items, Level Tickets, etc and with only 2 other active players, I've cleared the Event in 3 days.  Did a little test with a new account and was able to clear event in 5 days.

They differ by players, below is a sample taken from a new player's game and the missions are relatively easier than those advanced players' games.  Level 14 & onwards, I've included the [Tsum/Skill level] that was used to clear the mission.

Ranger Mission Level 1 (Rewards: 1 mission=100 point, total 400)
  • Clear 30 Mickey Tsum Tsum in 1 play
  • Earn 300,000 points in 1 play
  • Earn 120 Coins in 1 play
  • Activate Skill 1 time in 1 play

Rescue Aliens: Level 1 (Rewards: 1 Alien=30 point, total 300)
  • Rescue 10 Aliens

Ranger Mission: Level 2 (Rewards: 1 mission=120 point, total 480)
  • Activate Skill 2 times in 1 play
  • Clear 40 initial-M Tsum Tsum in 1 play
  • Enter Fever 2 times in 1 play
  • Earn 160 EXP in 1 play

Rescue Aliens: Level 2 (Rewards: 1 Alien=30 point, total 600)
  • Rescue 20 Aliens

Ranger Mission: Level 3 (Rewards: 1 mission=140 point, total 560)
  • Clear 1 Big Tsum Tsum in 1 play
  • Clear 200 Tsum Tsum in 1 play
  • Make a 9 Chain in 1 play
  • Earn 200 EXP in 1 play

Rescue Aliens: Level 3 (Rewards: 1 Alien=30 point, total 750)
  • Rescue 25 Aliens

Defeat Zurg Mission: Level 1 (Rewards: 1 Zurg=150 point, total 2,200)
  • Hit Zurg 15 times

Ranger Mission: Level 4 (Rewards: 1 mission=160 point, total 640)
  • Clear 70 yellow Tsum Tsum in 1 play
  • Activate Skill 2 times in 1 play
  • Earn 230 Coins in 1 play
  • Pop 9 Magical Bubbles in 1 play

Ranger Mission: Level 5 (Rewards: 1 mission=180 point, total 720)
  • Activate Skill 4 times in 1 play
  • Earn 1,000,000 points in 1 play
  • Earn 300 Coins in 1 play
  • Clear 290 Tsum Tsum in 1 play
