Mariner of the Seas - 6D, Day 5 - Cruising

Started the day with a late breakfast at Main Dining Room, quiet and cosy unlike the usual early mornings.
The Main Dining Room usually only serves dinner, except on cruising days.  So merely 2 hours after breakfast, we, again, went to The Main Dining Room.  But since still quite full, we tried its desserts.  Really yummy!  One of the rare moments where we snapped food photos.
Last night there was a leaflet along with the cruise compass, this leaflet informed us of  today's passports collection at the Sound of Music Dining Room on Deck 5.  I took all 4 SeaPass cards to collect.  The queue was long but moving.  While in the queue, noticed several passengers had gone without their companions' Seapass Cards and insisted to collect on behalf, some even raised their voices.  I would like to compliment the crew members for being patient and calm despite facing such unpleasant behaviours.  Let's be gracious, while on a jolly, give a smile, say a thank-you to those who had been working hard!
This trip's highlight was probably this activity, rock climbing!  It was our first time getting all fours on a wall.  Even though it was only 3 months odd after Myomectomy, I had wanted to give it a try. When I was half way up, I kind of stuck and DT kept yelling on the ground 'cos he was afraid I might exert too much force on my wounds.  And so, after 2/3 of the wall, I let go.  Then, it was DT's turn, also his first try, even though he took a little longer than others, he still completed it and rang the bell.  He said the view on top was great!  I took a video of his climbing, really hilarious but he insisted not to upload.
Shopping Onboard
It need not cost a bomb to shop onboard.  Often, on cruising days, the crew would set up booths at Royal Promenade selling watches, apparels, accessories, etc.  The brands included Tag Heuer, Citizen, Seiko, Skagen, Anne Klein, etc and there were also affordable costume sets that consisted of watch+necklace, sunglass+wallet, etc.  We bought a pair of Skagen watches for ourselves, 3 pair of Anne Klein watches and a few boxes of costume sets as gifts.
Next Cruise Deposit
There was some miscommunication on this part and I have written a separate article on this matter.  Please read here.

The crew member explained that this was an open booking that never expires!  That was, no time limit and fully transferable.  Here were the wordings
No need to select your ship and sail date now - you can decide later
Fill out the form below and place a reduced deposit of US$100 per person to reserve your future cruise
As written in Day 3's article, Day 5 was our turn to watch "Ice Under The Big Top" at Studio B.  We went there at around 4pm plus and were fortunate to get seats pretty near to the Center Ice Rink.  The show was spectacular, definitely a must-watch.

That evening  I had a bad migraine and spent the whole time sleeping in the cabin, and so that was the end of my day 5.  For my mum, brother and DT, they went to The Savoy Theatre to watch the farewell show before heading to The Main Dining Room for dinner.  When returned to room, they were busy packing the luggage, to leave them at the door for next day delivery.

All good things come to an end.  Next day to disembark.
