Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Singapore Office / Taiwan Visitors Association

It has been years since I had first visited this office and I couldn't recall how did I get to know this place.  Since then, every time before going to Taiwan, I would go to this office to get brochures, make inquiries or to collect Tour Voucher.

Most of the service providers at this office are Taiwanese, they are well-versed in English and Mandarin.  As Taiwanese converses mostly in Mandarin, it'll definitely be more efficient to use Mandarin when making inquires over the phone or at the office.

Now, how to qualify to get Tour Voucher?

• Free and easy travel to Taiwan
• Purchased air ticket to Taiwan (origin from Singapore)
• Booked at least one night stay in Taiwan

If you have all of the above, show proofs (paper or email) while physically at the office.  If there were other travellers, one representative may collect on behalf by showing everyone's info (paper or email).

From what I had gathered, at every quarter the office will receive freebies from Taiwan Tourism Bureau, some past freebies were:

• Complimentary one-way bus voucher between Taoyuan Airport and Taipei City (worth NT$125, about S$5.30)
• Complimentary entrance ticket to theme park, e.g. Window on China Theme Park
• Fruit picking voucher from some fruit farms
• EasyCard
