What is it?- 2018 October Event on Halloween, featuring Tsums from Tim Burton's The Nightmare before Christmas and Kingdom Hearts
- Total 5 cards + 1 bonus card, in the form of 5+1 floors inside a haunted house
- Event missions are available in English only, event Tsum Tsum may return in the future

- Above October new Tsums give character bonus :
- 30% - Chain, Exp
- 40% - Bubbles, Combo, Fever, Skills, Ghosts
- 50% - Coins, Points, Big Tsum, MyTsum, Tsum Tsum
- Use Sally for higher character bonus :
- 60% - Chain, Exp
- 80% - Bubbles (except Coin & Time Bubbles), Combo, Fever, Skills
- 100% - Coins, Points, Big Tsum, MyTsum, Tsum Tsum, Ghosts, Coin Bubbles, Time Bubbles
- The highlight of this event is Bat Hat Minnie of max skill 3/3. This Tsum Tsum generates amazing amount of coins per play. Click here to view her details.

- On event card, lower left button switches to event's other details while right button is to pause event (suspend card)
When to play?
- 2018 October 8 to October 31, 11:59pm PDT, total 24 days (Japanese version: 2017 October 8 to 31)
Who can play?
- All players, including Guest, no minimum player level required
How to play?
- 5 + 1 floors inside a haunted house, every floor has a few rooms, missions are inside rooms
- 3 types of mission
- Tap items with an eerie glow and take on a mission, clear the missions and find ghost Tsum Tsum
- ✅ Select either one of the ghost Tsum Tsum's missions
- 👻 missions: Use magical bubbles or skills to defeat the ghosts that appear during Fever Time
- There is reward for each completed room (except attic) and a special reward for each completed floor
- Challenge the super difficult attic room to be upgraded to Gold Pin
- If you hit a difficult mission, tap the "!" and use rubies to make them easier
Tips
- Chain missions
- Mummy Donald - only clear the normal Mummy Donald to activate skill at least 2 times, so that there'll be 6 bandages (6 big Tsums=30 chain). Along with character bonus of 30%, just need to connect 17 for a 22+ chain and 30 for a 38+ chain.
- Elsa - activate skill 2 times then burst the frozen Tsums, my highest was 46
- Skill that Calls Someone - choose a higher skill one where you may connect many Tsums as a chain
- Magical Bubbles missions
- Skill that Makes Magical Bubbles
- When requires specify item bubble, use Skill that Makes Item Bubbles
- Coin Bubble - forms when clear 13-20 Tsums
- Score Bubble - forms when clear 15-21+ Tsums, use a skill that can clear many Tsums whenever skill is activated
- Star Bubble (aka +Exp Bubble) - forms when clear 11-18 Tsums
- Time Bubble - forms when clear 9-16 Tsums, best choice is Shivering Piglet
- At each play, a Tsum is selected and set as MyTsum. For skill that makes big Tsum, where 1 big Tsum equals 5 normal Tsums, this rule doesn't apply to MyTsum missions. During MyTsum mission, 1 big MyTsum equals to 1 MyTsum.
- Avoid using rubies to reduce difficulty since rubies are very useful and difficult to obtain

Conclusion
The Japanese version was held during 2017 October, rewards were the same but most missions in Global version had been made easier, for e.g. 42+ chain mission became 38+ chain. With the easier missions and Sally's high character bonus, I believe many beginner players were able to complete the whole event. My usual account completed the whole event within 3 days while my other Guest account with a skill 1/6 Sally was able to complete 5 cards. The easier event could probably meant to attract and retain more players but the game's recent connectivity issues had stalled many players. Hopefully the team will fix all issues soon. Ganbatte!
