We had travelled on cruise ship during the 90s, this Nov-2013 trip was our first with Royal Caribbean International. It was after almost 4 years, around Jun-2017, that this post was written. I could not recall a lot of details, but I do remember having lots of queries while preparing for this trip. So, here's a post to share my experience as a first-time cruiser with my favourite cruise liner.
SEP-2013
While shopping, came across the temporary sales booth set up by Royal Caribbean International. After gathered some information, we went home to do some quick research and invited my mum and brother along. The following day, we went to the sales booth to purchase our first cruise trip on Mariner of the Seas, 5 Night Spice of South-East Asia Cruise! After made a full payment with my HSBC credit card, we were entitled to redeem a free 26" hard case luggage☺. Being the ever prudent traveller, I had also added travel insurance for this trip.
